Friends are hard to find, I was  just so lucky I’ve found friends who are always there through thick and thin.  Our friendship has gone through the test of time and no one can ever break the bond that binds us, not time…not even distance.

A lot of my friends are my exact opposite, few are just like me (in a way) and no one’s really like me (of course!) but one thing they have in common is that they are all very patient on me, heheheh… that’s a fact

KITENG: (first from the left – all girls)  As I’ve said,  we’re opposite but we like talking to each other.  She confides to me about matters of the heart when we were in college.  Hahaha! As if I’m expert about love?!?!  Well, maybe she was just confident that her secrets are safe with me!  She’s the “maria clara” type but she’ll fight for you to death.  A very sweet, caring ang loving friend.  The singer of the group.  The Carpernters’ songs?!?!? Name it, she knew it! Hehehe…Our favorite song which also happened to be the theme song of her mom & her bestfriend is no other than “I Have You”  What did I say?!?! She’s the maria clara type, right?  Oh, would you believe that in our barkada, she was the one who first got married!  Now, she’s happily married with Jonathan and they have two kids and of them is my pretty god daughter Chelsea.

SHARON: (next to kiteng) A protective friend but oftentimes our personalities clash.  It’s because we both have strong personalities.  The most sensitive among us, she’s so “matampuhin” so we must be really careful about the things that we are going to say or do.  An honest friend and she’s also sweet in her own way.

LEIZL: (in the middle) My friend since grade school and my twin sister (gemini).  We were classmates since grade school until college.  Hahaha!  But we just got the chance to be really close friends during our college days.  I should say, we have a lot of things in common that most of the time, people would think we’re twins!  My favorite shopping buddy!  A trusted friend…my confidant.  I love talking to her about anything and I really appreciate her unbiased pieces of advice.  She’s now happily married to Laurence and hopefully God will bless them with a child soon.

GLADS: (first from the right)  My friend who’s very secretive but I’m glad she confides to me…  understanding and responsible.  Still single and available?!?! Hahaha!  I guess she’s really busy in her service in the community of  Singles for Christ.  Even if we seldom see each other, she never fails to remember even by just a simple text message.  One more thing, she doesn’t often show her emotions but the truth is…emo din sya! lolz

LEM: My “big brother,” almost like a real brother to me.  An older brother that I wish I have (though he’s younger than me) hehehe…Best seller ang mga advice ko pagdating sa kanya, especially when it comes to lovelife! My closest guy friend in college (na napapagkamalang bf ko, wahahaha!) Friends lang po talaga…nothing more than that.  Now, he’s married and blessed with a cute little girl who is by the way very much looks like his dad! lol

RONALD: The opposite of Lem!  He’s my “enemy” in our barkada! Hehehe…mapang-asar and loves to crack jokes (green jokes!) which I really hate. Hmp! Hahaha…But he’s sweet and patient din naman kahit lagi ko syang inaaway.  I love his handwritting (pambabae, lol).  He’s now happily married and was blessed with a pretty little girl named Princess Diane (my god daughter).

I really miss you guys…can’t help reminiscing those times that we were together.  I’d like to thank you for being part of my life, for the good memories we’ve created together, for all the laughter and tears, for the prayers and support and for the love and care that you’ve given me.  I wish you guys a well deserved life and may God continue to bless and keep you.  Love you all! #CAL
