On this day, God wants YOU to know...

If there’s one application in Facebook that I personally believe is worth of my time among any other, it would be the “On this day, God wants you to know…”  Well, there are lots of other applications there that most of us got addicted into like games, surveys, etc.  I was once got addicted to Farmtown.  I used to sacrifice 1 to 2 hours of sleep everyday just to  plant seeds, renovate and decorate my farm, and used to wake up during wee hours just to harvest my crops!  I’m also guilty of waking up in the morning wherein the first thing that I would do is to check my FB account instead of praying.  Oh, this cyber world’s really taking too much of our time at work, from ourselves and our loved ones.  It also makes us less productive one way or another without us even noticing it.  Don’t get me wrong,  I have nothing against FB or other social networking sites.  It’s just that I had this realization that there are lots of ways on how I can better use my time especially now that I’m going back to school.

Today, I felt really blessed after reading this message.  “On this day, God wants you to know… that you have so many gifts! – use them. God has given you so many gifts to sow love and to give hope, to shine light and to spread joy. Abundant gifts. Use them. Give to yourself and give to others. There is an endless spring where they come from.”

I must say that this message is very timely.  I had this website for almost a month now with the purpose of sharing my life stories, thoughts and experiences.  But sometimes I’m also running out of things to write.  At some point, I feel pressured.  I tend  to write just about anything for the sake of writing.  And more often than not, I end up deleting them…But after reading that message,  I was enlighten and told myself to keep going and use the talent that God has given me to inspire people and touch their lives in some ways through my writings.   Oftentimes, we think that we are running out of resources or we have no talent  to showcase like the others.  But if we will just try to look at things in a different perspective, we’ll be able to say that we are truly blessed with abundant gifts from God.  That we have a lot to share and to give to ourselves, to our loved ones, to our friends, colleagues and other people.  We will never run out of resources because we have a generous God.  He will provide for us, we just have to ask and work for it.

I know,  most of you (especially my close friends) would want to read more of my love story, right?  Of course, I would love to share it with you.  But don’t get used to it because there are still a lot of things to write and talk about.    #CAL
