First DAY of School

I woke up a bit earlier than usual this morning because it’s my first day of school!    Our class was supposed to start at 7am but since it’s our first day, it started at 8am (to add some technical problem in the powerpoint presentation which caused the delay).  As usual, there was an orientation and getting to know each other part. The first classmate that I met and said “hi” to was Melissa.  Don’t ask me of her surname, I don’t know because I didn’t ask! But you have to congratulate me, at least I did remember her name! I’m not good in remembering names, you know…(Manny, is that you?!!) Hahaha…

After the orientation and getting to know each other part, came the 2-hour lecture then a 15-minute coffee break followed by another lecture (isn’t it hectic?!?! hehehe!) And here’s the best part of my class today… Ten minutes before the end of today’s session, the professor asked us to answer 10 questions out of what he discussed.  Toinkz!  We didn’t expect it!  It’s been years since the last time I went to school.   It was in 2004 when I took the Basic French 1 class in UP Diliman.  And to add the “memory gap” dilemma, how am I going to answer those 10 questions in 10 minutes?!?! My goodness…I need luck, luck, luck and lots of luck! Hahahaha…

Thank God, my brain didn’t fail me (as it never did eversince)…I thought it will this time!  I got 7 correct answers out of 10.  Whew!  And guess what? I just discovered that after so many years, I am still the old me.  The careless me, in answering test questions.  The 3 wrong answers were out of carelessness and over confidence….waaaaaaaaaah!  But it’s ok…better luck next time, and better be careful! Hahaha…

Go, Tentee!     You CAN do it!!!  So, help me God.

By the way… I’ve got some pics, but opt not to post all of them here.   Just for the sake of documenting my first day of school, I chose two!  Hahaha…see how excited I was?!?! 

I took these photos using my three year old Sony Ericsson K800i mobile phone while inside the cab (along Ayala Ave.) going to school.  Yey! It’s my first day… I’m so excited!
