2009 has been a tough yet blessed year. It was a 365-day opportunity to see God’s grace and feel His unconditional love for all of us.
January 2009 – There was a lump at my back which was discovered in June of 2008. It took me 6 months to finally decide to undergo a surgery and have it removed. I was so scared but surrendered everything to God. A week of waiting for the result of the biopsy seemed like years. But God is really good, it was a benign. Yes, I had a 1-inch scar at my back but it’ll always remind me of God’s love, goodness and faithfulness.
February 2009 – I thought he’s gonna surprise me with a bunch of flowers on Valentine’s Day but it didn’t happen. I was so mad and disappointed that I didn’t realize, he actually had a different and more unique plan to make that day special for us. Realization really comes in various ways… 
and God knows how and when is the best time to make them happen.
March 2009 – A great summer holiday spent with some of my good friends. Met the very accommodating Ajero family Sarap magluto ni Mommy Weng! Hehehe…Explored Bantayan, Virgin Island and other historical places in Cebu, shopping, bonding moments, food trip and of course photo shoot! Hehehe…
April 2009 – It’s my Bebe’s birth month and if I’m not mistaken, the first month of the year that we didn’t have petty quarrels or an argument. 
May 2009 – We celebrated Mommy’s 60th Birthday which became an unexpected family reunion! I’m so grateful having been blessed with a mom like her.
June 2009 – My BIG 30 Day! A very memorable birthday bash with family and friends. Thankful for all the blessings that God has given me. I received a birthday gift/surprise… I didn’t know he was coming from Singapore for a 2-week vacation. He introduced me to his family and we had wonderful times together.
July 2009 – The time that I thought of resigning from my job at ACS because there’s no salary increase and at the same time I was looking for good employee benefits which ACS cannot offer (yet?). But believe it or not, the main reason why I cannot leave ACS (as of yet), is because of the team. My boss and my team mates…more than anything else, are my friends.
August 2009 – Uhmmm…think, think, think…dunno what to write here. Hehehe…
September 2009 – My parents met his parents.
October 2009 – Our first anniversary. Despite everything that happened… I am thankful because he never gave up on me. I’m so grateful to God for being with me in every step of the way.
November 2009 – Back to school at 30. It was unplanned, there was just one time while Rodel and I were chatting, our conversation led unto that. I didn’t like the idea at first because it would mean less “gala”, shorter sleeping hours, additional expenses, etc. But then after two weeks of having thought of it, I was finally convinced and enrolled on a weekend class.
December 2009 – Manaoag adventure with Gracey. Finally, natuloy din! Wehehe…
