School year is almost over and my mom just told me that my niece/god daughter is an achiever and would ask for a gift as a recognition for her hardwork and good performance at school. When I was at her age, I was a top performer at school too, and I wanted to have brick game (well, that definitely reveals my age! hehehe…). But my parents wouldn’t allow me to have one. Not until I became a constant honor student. That’s when my aunt working in Manila gave me one. I was so happy despite the limited time of playing, like every weekend only or after I have finished all my homeworks and projects. That’s how our parents trained us with regard to our study habit and it paid off. Now, this niece of mine is hoping to receive a playstation 3 this coming recognition day and I’m contemplating if it’s right to give her one. She really wanted it so badly. I guess it won’t be a distraction in her studies for as long as her parents/guardian would let her use it with moderation. So, I’d probably give her one. Oh, by the way…let me check the price first, hahaha! I might be needing help from my brother (extra cash).
