I set my alarm at 4:00am about a month after my classes start. But as expected, I always end up pressing the snooze button of my cellphone (if not always, that’s most of the time)! Hehehehe… Today, I guess I’m back to the “old” me. Well, it’s hard to explain and it’ll probably harder to believe or understand. But this morning when I woke up at 4:00am, I went back to sleep and I had a dream. In the past few days, I’ve been asking God for a particular message (or should I say, answer) about something that I’ve been praying for, for the past six months. And today, just a day before I finally enter into the battle, He gave me this message. In my dream, there was a child who is about 2 years of age or younger who spoke exactly this, “Genesis 39″ and that was the only thing he said. And then the priest who’s supposed to read a certain chapter in the bible, when he heard what the child said read it instead. The priest started reading the bible but I don’t hear anything and then I woke up. And so, the first thing that I did (when I’m half awake & half asleep…I thought I was still dreaming then) was get the bible which is just beside me and looked for Genesis 39. I am not even sure if there’s really Chapter 39 in the book of Genesis but I found it. I read that particular chapter and was amazed with what God has just told me. What really struck me was the last verse which says “…because the Lord was with Joseph and made him succeed in everything he did.” Yes, I firmly believe that like Joseph, I will also succeed in every endeavor/undertaking that I’m going to pursue because God is with me. But I know it would also require a certain action on my part which I believe I did diligently, wholeheartedly and with all my strength. From the start until the end, I know that God will never leave me. I may have limited time, energy and resources but the good Lord will provide and equip me with everything I need in order to succeed. With these, I am bringing back all the praise and glory to you my God. I am doing this not only for myself, not only for my loved ones but for You who’s the very source of my existence. Thank you Lord, for giving me peace…thank you for everything. Words are really not enough to express how grateful I am having you as my God. I promise that I would do anything in my powers and ability in order to make it. Anything could happen but then one thing that would really make a big difference is my faith. Thy will be done. #CAL
