 Thanks to my boss, I finally got to taste authentic Chinese dimsum on 11.11.11!  The food’s great, I would love to be back and eat some more! Hahaha…I’m so lucky and blessed to have such a kind and generous boss. It was a nice bonding experience with them, though my buddy (Jen) wasn’t there because she’s on MC. Just one thing though…I wasn’t comfortable using the chopsticks so I ended up using fork! Hahaha…
This photo was taken by her . She somehow reminds me of Gladys, my boss in ACS. She also loves to eat, but only selective food. And most of all she loves to treat her staff over lunch.
I thought working here in Singapore is going to be tough for me but it wasn’t. Hopefully, it won’t hahaha! They are all kind and considerate. What else can I ask?!?!

The last time I mentioned here about conference calls was when I was still having my CPA review, which by the way my family and friends didn’t know until I passed the board. Now that I am here in Singapore and working in a US MNC, conference calling service is in my system once again, hehehe…My first conference call was I guess during my second week in the firm and it feels great! It’s one of the things that I missed for quite some time. But of course when you’re into it again, you wouldn’t want to always have it because it means you have to be in the office EARLY! Yeah, I intentionally made it all capital letters, hahaha! 
I bought my 4-year old Northface way back in 2007 for hiking purposes with a promise that it will with me in my out of the country trips & tours. Glad that it happened for more than just a couple of times. Now, it’s still with me in Singapore and I am planning to wash it today because I’m gonna use it for the retreat next week. Last week, I was looking for a smaller backpack but it’s kinnda pricey here. I saw one which I think is of good quality and style, not sure if I remember it right though…dakine backpacks?!?! Is it? Hehehe…anyways, my old northface would be fine for now.
I am living here in Singapore for almost four months now and working for nearly three months. When I fly here from Manila, I didn’t actually bring a lot of stuff because I don’t want the immigration officer to suspect that I will look for a job here. My round trip ticket by the way was just for 2 weeks and my purpose is just to have a tour in Singapore…that’s the impression that I want to create. Luckily, I landed a job in less than a month. To cut the story short, when I got my first pay I went to Bugis to buy dress! Hahaha…that’s the story that I want to tell.  I was with my officemate and while trying to find good stuff (dresses, etc.) we passed by a shop that sells funny tee shirts! And when I say funny, it really is FUNNY! But I wouldn’t tell why, hahaha! You must come and see it for yourself.
My brother who is a businessman, presented me a business plan before I left for Singapore. And it was just amazing! I saw it’s potential. Amongst the strategies that he presented was the retail system. Listening to him while doing the presentation was really great and I can’t help but to be proud of him and his achievements. I really hope that his plans will all be successful and I would be very glad to be part of them. I would love to help him out in the accounting and management area of the business.  And I know I can do that even if I’m based here in Singapore hehehe…
Want to get relief from your allergies? Of course, who doesn’t…right? Well, actually there are lots of clinics and specialist who are into this type of services. Austin allergist of one of them. I don’t know much about them yet personally but I heard from a friend that they provide good services and relief from allergies. You’ve got to take a look and gather more information from the internet regarding this if would like to make consultations or appointment with them. It’s always better to do your own research and make a wise decision out of so many alternatives in the market. In the first place, it’s for you own good! 
Wanted to buy gifts for your special someone? Any personalized gift ideas for him? Now is the best time for your suggestions peeps! Christmas is fast approaching and still can’t think of a nice gift for him. Of course, don’t suggest a super expensive one. It’s always the thought that counts hahaha! This has always been my belief. Anyways, still got some time to think it over.
It’s been a while since the last time I checked my Facebook account using my laptop. Been using my iPhone 4 because we don’t have internet connection at home yet. But today I tried it and it’s still a very poor connection. When i opened my account I got curious with this link that I never thought I accidentally click. It’s facebook.com/SharisBerries. I don’t know what’s in there. Can’t stand with the very poor internet connection that this handphone is giving me as a modem. Goodness, my laptop hangs and I’m getting sleepy while waiting. Know what? I’m using my iPhone’s note to write this blog and post to my website and then do the editing and modifications in the office tomorrow. Have to be early, otherwise I can’t do the editing while the bosses are around. 
My housemate is having her drums lessons every Monday. Actually, on typical weekdays we hardly see each other even if we live at the same flat. She always come in late because of work and sometimes other activities and when she arrives, I’m already inside my room sleeping. Then I will wake up and leave early while she’s still asleep, hahaha! But of course during weekends we got to see each other and talk. But for two weeks, I will be all alone here. Actually, it started last night because she went to India for a 2-week business trip. Going back to her drums lessons, it is ongoing and I don’t know if she will buy another drum set like steel drums. She already has one set here but I guess it’s different. Anyway, let’s just wait and see. This girl is really a music lover! 
I’ve got a lot of friends who are into radiologic technician jobs before but when they came here in Singapore, they landed in a really different field which is food and beverages (F&B). And guess what, they are enjoying it very much. Isn’t it amazing?!!? Of course I’m so happy for them. Though it’s fulfilling to have a job that is related to your field, I guess it’s equally fulfilling if you like and love what you are doing even if it’s totally different from practicing your profession. Go friends! I am proud of you!
